MUMBLES PIER
The 835ft Mumbles pier is one of Swansea's most famous landmarks and is one of only six surviving iron piers in Wales, this one was built in 1898. The pier is home to an amusements arcade, fishing platforms, a cafe and a secluded beach.
Only a 7 minute drive or 20 minute walk at SA3 4EN.
BLUE POOL
One of Gower's hidden gems, a huge blue natural rock pool situates approximately 15ft across in the corner of the beach measuring 8ft deep in low tide. The pool can be accessed by walking along the scenic clifftop path. The car park for Blue Pool is located at Broughton Farm Caravan Park (as you walk through the caravan park there are signs to guide you to the path) at SA3 1JP, a 35 minute drive away.
NATIONAL WATERFRONT MUSEUM
The museum tells the story of Welsh industry and innovation now and over the past 300 years. All ready to explore via cutting-edge, interactive technology putting you in charge of the experience and allowing you to delve as deep into the displays as you wish. The museum is also home to one of the very few surviving coal wagons.
Located next to the LC and Swansea Arena at SA1 3RD.
DAN YR OGOF CAVES
Dan yr Ogof is located at the National Showcaves Centre for Wales. It features a 17km long cave system dating back 350 million years. You can also explore one of the world's largest award-winning dinosaur parks and see over 220 life-sized dinosaur models.
Located a 45 minute drive away in Abercraf, Swansea, SA9 1GJ.
OYSTERMOUTH CASTLE
Oystermouth Castle dates back to the 12th century and sits majestically on the hill in Mumbles, with stunning views of the bay. The castle offers guided tours, a place to sit and eat a picnic and every summer is home to an outdoor cinema.
Only a 10 minute walk away at SA3 4BA.
SWANSEA INDOOR MARKET
The largest indoor market in Wales offering visitors a fantastic selection of stalls featuring fresh, local produce and delicious foods to antiques and bespoke gifts.
The market was voted Britain's Best Large Indoor Market in 2020 by The Great British Market Awards.

RHOSSILI SUNFLOWER FIELDS
Every year, thousands of Swansea and Gower residents and visitors flock to Rhossili Bay to take a picture of the beautiful sunflower fields. This season there will be a "pick your own" field with thousands of sunflowers to pick and take home (priced at £1.50 each). There is also a sunflower trail to get lost in and explore.
The fields are located on top the cliffs of Rhossili Bay, SA3 1PP, this takes you to the National Trust car park where the fields are sign posted.
